About This Novel

A classic poem by the great Italian poet Dante. In "The Divine Comedy", Dante takes himself as the protagonist and adopts the hallucination form unique to medieval literature. He imagines that he is led by the ancient Roman poet Vigilius and his late lover Bayard respectively, traveling through the three realms of hell, pure world and heaven. With all his accumulated knowledge, life experience and artistic creativity, he depicts a bizarre and extremely broad soul world for us. Mr. Wang Weike translated the book based on the original Italian work, as well as translations from other countries such as France and England, and presented this catchy and poetic Chinese translation.
