Conan Doyle's first collection of short stories with the detective Sherlock Holmes as the protagonist. The twelve short stories included in the book are wonderful and unique. For example, "A Scandal in Botswana" depicts a beautiful and intelligent heroine who uses meticulous thinking and astute responses. The ability to change makes the opponent Holmes defeated; "The Red-Headed Club" tells the story of an incredible bank theft case, with a strange plot and clever conception; "The Case of the Spotted Belt" describes a human tragedy in which a father and his daughter were driven to kill each other by the desire for profit. They are all famous stories that Sherlock Holmes fans talk about. During the investigation of these cases, Dr. Watson and Holmes were not afraid of risks and confronted criminals head-on. The two formed a deep friendship of life and death. Holmes's investigative talent and outstanding talent were also fully demonstrated in these cases.
