This article selects eight topics that have had a certain influence in the field of Chinese literary theory since the 1980s, namely, literary activity theory, literary humanities theory, literary subject theory, rationalist and irrationalist literary theory, essentialist and anti-essentialist literary theory, rewriting literary history, ontology issues in literary history, and methodological issues in literary history.
