About This Novel
On May 27, 2005, the "International Conference on Canon (Re) Formation in the Context of Cult" was co-sponsored by the Department of Literature and Art of the School of Literature of Capital Normal University, the Research Center of Literature and Art of Beijing Normal University, and the magazine "Literary Studies". UralStudies), held in Jinhai Lake, Beijing, more than 70 experts and scholars from different nationalities with different cultural backgrounds, knowledge backgrounds and academic experiences from countries and regions such as China, the United States, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Taiwan, held a lively and constructive discussion on the "literary classics" issues of common concern in the spirit of an equal and sincere academic dialogue. Their various views and thoughts converge and compete here, inspiring and promoting each other. The conference received more than 50 academic papers, which had a great impact in the academic world. This collection of papers is formed based on the conference papers.
