About This Novel

That is, The Adventure of the Naval Treaty, now translated as: Naval Treaty, is the tenth case of "Memoirs". Originally published in the British "Seaside Magazine" from October to November 1893. The translator, Zhang Kunde, was the first person in my country to translate Western detective novels. He served as translator and deputy consul at the Busan Consulate of North Korea, and later served as the English translator for the "Current Affairs News" run by Liang Qichao. The four Sherlock Holmes stories he translated were all serialized and published by "Current Affairs News" and are the earliest Chinese translations.
