About This Novel
"The Theory of Great Depth Battles" is the legacy of Tukhachevsky, one of the former five marshals of the Soviet Union, who was executed for espionage. This campaign theory was created by the Soviet Union in the 1920s and 1930s. The theory also brought together the collective wisdom of a group of Soviet military experts such as Triandafilov, Yegorov, Iserson, Varfolomeev, Shirovsky, Ubolevich, and Budyonny.
