About This Novel

This manuscript is a collection of the author's opera scripts. It includes four scripts and their related comments: "The Legend of the Big Monster", "The Chief of Shanyao Village", "The Mayor of Loquat Village" and "The Extraordinary Director". Among them, "The Legend of Horse" won the Comprehensive Gold Award at the Second China Drama Festival "Northwest Gathering" in 1989, and in 1990 won the Nomination Award for the Fifth China Outstanding Script (later renamed Cao Yu Drama Literature Award).
