The unhappiness of marriage has a great impact on people, and it may even take a lifetime to heal. Mrs. Morel's early life was still very happy.
No one likes a person with a bad temper. Morel's bad temper is hard to accept, and he also likes to take medicine as much as the miners, and even pays for it with his own money.
Mrs. Morel's psychology is very morbid. How can she regard her son as a lover? Her feelings for his son have exceeded a mother's feelings for her children.
