Recommendation level: Selective recommendation, it is not a regular online novel at all, so you can't expect to read it in the same way as online articles (not in a derogatory sense, not in a complimentary sense). Even the original Cthulhu novel requires some effort to read. If it can be finished, I think it can be regarded as a representative work of some aspects of Chinese Cthulhu novels (probably? I haven't read too many) After I read a third of it completely (but not carefully), I skipped through the following chapters. This is an original Cthulhu novel. The author's descriptions of subtle details are very, very, very detailed and distinctive. The form is also very ingenious and has a sense of design. If you read it and understand it, you will probably feel resonance and excitement. But the reading threshold or the threshold for reading is relatively high. First, it is a convoluted plot structure that is not linear. I think to a large extent this article is author-oriented rather than reader-oriented. It is quite difficult to read. Second, it is confusing and detailed. The author uses long paragraphs, long paragraphs, long paragraphs, long paragraphs, long paragraphs, and long paragraphs to describe some very subtle changes. I will use a whole chapter or several chapters to write in detail some things that I think can be omitted, such as six consecutive chapters of background story introduction, or one or two chapters of very detailed rules for a specific dice-throwing game (which can be regarded as a game manual). If you want to grasp the plot, you will find that the plot is submerged in similar scenes. If someone likes Cthulhu with a pure flavor, I also recommend Dr. Dawn and Kraft's Notes on Abnormalities, as well as a Cthulhu Martial Arts Knight's Record. Regarding the readability of the above three issues, the first is Dr. Ming Ming, the second is the Notes on Anomalies, and the third is the martial arts book Cthulhu (which quotes too much from scriptures and uses some ridiculous descriptions), but the readability of the above is stronger than this book.
