About This Novel
"This is where I will be buried," Todd thought. Todd and Viola escape to the end of the world, but fall into a scam - "New Prentice City". The city was like a huge lie, wrapping them both up. Suddenly, people were divided into two major factions. One was the "answer" faction, which was full of rumors, and their privacy was exposed to the light; the other was the "question" faction, which kept secrets and faced a crisis of trust at all times. Todd was imprisoned and tamed by Mayor Prentiss, but Viola fell into a greater crisis. Torn by confusion and compromise, suspicion and betrayal, their bond becomes increasingly fragile. Until one day, bombs started exploding and the whole world disappeared.

That girl was very important to Todd, more important than his life. As soon as Todd regained consciousness, he was asking about the girl's whereabouts, worried about the girl's injuries, and didn't care about his own situation at all.
Is Todd afraid of death? Maybe, but for that girl, he can tell others that he is not afraid of death, and would rather die than tell the girl's name, because he just wants to protect that girl
The mayor was still asking Todd for the girl's name. Although he might know it, he might be testing Todd, or he might be trying to confirm the girl's name, but in the end he still failed.
