Twelve-year-old Gillian Brillington is just an ordinary girl, smart, brave, and sometimes willful for her own benefit. She never thought that she was special or any different from others. She was wrong. One day, she and her nanny Danielle were kidnapped and taken to a mysterious scientific organization. Since then, everything has changed. There, Gillian learns she has another name: Ashlyn, and discovers a strange connection between her and the other children in the lab. They each have superpowers, a gift that Jillian doesn't quite understand yet. In addition, Gillian also discovered that her superpower is to enter other people's dreams. Her mission seems simple: scientists want her to use her powers to find another missing teenager. But the longer Gillian spends time in the lab, the more clearly she realizes that nothing is as it seems... And that everyone has their own secrets.
