About This Novel
Today is my twentieth birthday, but I can only celebrate it in the car. Principal Fan was drinking with some leaders, and it was almost twelve o'clock. I thought they might go to a sauna or something, and they might not be able to leave until three or four in the morning, so I just waited. I quickly ran to the cake shop on the corner and bought a small cake as big as my palm. I got back in the car and looked at the handsome face in the mirror. I whistled and regretted that I could not become a singer or a male model. He adjusted his facial muscles, said a gentle happy birthday to himself, then made a wish and blew out the candles in one breath. I am Principal Fan's full-time driver. I made three wishes, one of which is to wish Principal Fan good health and an early promotion.
