About This Novel

This book is a collection of the results of the 2005-2006 research project of the Institute of Oriental Culture at Gakushuin University in Japan, "The Understanding of 'China' by Modern Chinese Intellectuals." This book is different from the study of new methodologies in the history of modern Chinese thought, but is dedicated to the basic research of each text.
