About This Novel
The second part, "1903: Ash or Anarchism": Ash, an accountant, a "sleepwalker" who tries in vain to save the world. Ash didn't understand why his coworkers who committed fraud were given important tasks, but he who worked hard was fired. In his view, a world with inverted values is a "bad debt", and he is eager to "liquidate" social injustices. In this era, however, Ash's efforts appear futile and contradictory. He was dissatisfied with the world of black and white, but he was unable to make the right choice: In order to save an actress who was engaged in dangerous performances, Ash bought an acrobatic troupe, but soon started a sensational women's wrestling competition; in order to save a friend who was in prison, Ash sought help everywhere, but in the end he chose to report an innocent person... In a chaotic era, he was part of the collapse of value.
