About This Novel
"Window Light" is Nanae Aoyama's debut novel. This work won the 42nd Japan Literary Award, known as the "cradle of the Akutagawa Prize". By describing a female college student who dropped out of school and worked in a cafe, she peered into a man's room opposite, and then went out on the street every night to peek into the lives of ordinary people. It delicately depicts the psychological world of a young woman who cannot handle real life well. "Mrs. Murasaki's Paris" describes an aunt who is a cleaning lady in an office building. When she feels uncomfortable, she thinks about the streets of Paris, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe seen from the Eiffel Tower, etc., And at the same time imagines herself as a Frenchman born in Paris.

Quiet, trivial, plain and even dark. Start living your own life by watching the lives of others. "Yeah, it's true. It's so easy. If I want to, I can wave from that window. The melody of the serenade gradually speeds up."
I really like Qihui's works. They are so real and natural.
Simple and pure, close to life, I like this kind of light talk😹
