About This Novel
It tells the love story between a silent and withdrawn male high school boy Teruhiko Amano and a seriously ill but seemingly cheerful girl Ayabe Kaori. Teruhiko Amano inherited the camera after his father's death and thought about the meaning of photography. Because of the camera, he became associated with Kaori Ayabe and became his exclusive photographer. During the relationship, he was infected by Kaori's optimism and strength and fell in love with her. However, there was a "cruel" agreement between them: Amano Teruhiko could not fall in love with Ayabe Kaori, and he could not shed tears for her after her death. When Kaori's condition worsened and she passed away, Amano Teruhiko struggled painfully, and finally chose to turn everything Kaori gave him into food for growth, and move forward positively. Every year, he would come to the place agreed with Ayabe Kaori, look up at the stars, and recall every moment of his time with her. This story is full of the ignorance of youth, the beauty of love, and the thinking and cherishing of life.
