"An Outline of the History of Northeast China" was written by Fu Sinian in an anxious mood after the September 18th Incident. It was mainly to convince the League of Nations Lytton Investigation Team that Northeast China has been Chinese territory since ancient times. This book probably aims to prove that Northeast China belongs to China based on historical records, so as to refute the Japanese fallacy that "Han and Mongolia were not part of China's territory in history".
