This book belongs to one of the series of "Japan's Modern Frontier Survey of China and its Documentary Research" and was funded by the 2016 National Publishing Fund project. This book is a translation. It mainly tells the story of Japanese magazine reporter Shoto Fukaya and painter Furukawa Difeng who went deep into Northeast China and Inner Mongolia many times from December 1915 to March 1918 to conduct investigations and obtain various information.
