About This Novel

"Human Geographic Research on Island Culture and Ecology - The Case of Zhoushan" by Tong Yiqin, Dong Chaoyang, Wu Lei and others uses literature review and field research to study the cultural landscape of Zhoushan Islands and the impact of cultural activities on the ecological environment through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The latter uses the ecological footprint and water footprint methods to study the pressure of human cultural activities on the island on the ecological environment, and arranges two chapters, namely Zhoushan City's ecological footprint and sustainable development and Zhoushan City's water footprint and sustainable use of water resources.
