Wenzhou is one of the famous hometowns of overseas Chinese in China, but most of the existing research focuses on overseas Chinese from Wenzhou in Europe. So far, no research monograph on overseas Chinese from Wenzhou in Japan has been published. However, tracing the immigration history of Wenzhou, it is not difficult to find that Japan, like Europe, was also one of the main emigration countries for early Wenzhou people. This book is compiled based on the oral recording materials collected by the author while studying in Japan. It records the ups and downs of life experiences of 54 Wenzhou residents in Japan, and truly reproduces the historical change process of the overseas Chinese society of Wenzhou in Japan.
