About This Novel
From 1968 to 1982, the Jinggangshan Revolution Museum sent several interview teams to various parts of the country to interview more than 140 veteran Red Army and related personnel who participated in the Jinggangshan struggle. These interviewees recounted their personal experiences of the struggle in Jinggangshan and what they saw and heard. The main contents include: about the August 7th Conference, about the Autumn Harvest Uprising in eastern Hunan and western Jiangxi, about the struggle in Jinggangshan, about the Red Army Clothing Factory and the Mint, about Wang Zuo's family history, about the 32nd Regiment of the Red Army, about Zhu De, about the Fifth Red Army, etc. The interviewer made detailed records of these oral accounts, totaling about 1.2 Million words. Especially as the interviewees pass away one after another, this information becomes even more precious.
