"Lark is a Dog" contains three works by Wang Jinkang: "Lark is a Dog", "The Legend of Dragon" and "Desert Earthworm". "Lark is a Dog": Lark is a pet dog of the little girl Meng Yin. Meng Yin takes good care of it and writes a growth diary for it. However, Lark has his own thoughts and mission. He came to Meng Yin's home to prove that wisdom and creativity are not exclusive to humans... "The Legend of the Dragon": "My" hometown - Laolongbei Village is a magical place. Most of its place names are related to dragons. Mysterious legends about dragons are spread here. Finally one day, a real dragon passed in front of "me". Where will it lead the village and its people? "Desert Earthworm": The explosive reproduction of nanomachines (desert earthworms) that benefit mankind is about to destroy mankind; the inventor of the desert earthworm has a split personality. During the day, he is a tenacious guardian of this invention, but at night he instructs his students to find ways to exterminate it.
