A Study on Yuan Jie's Poetry and Prose in Hunan

About This Novel

This book takes the poems and essays written by Yuan Jie during his ten years in Hunan as the research object, discusses Yuan Jie's literary works and influence, and thus locates the literary, documentary and linguistic value of Yuan Jie's poems and essays. Based on the Wuxi stone carving documents and the "Integrated Vietnamese Chinese Yanxing Documents" recently published by Fudan University Press, this paper examines the spread and acceptance of Yuanjie's poems and prose from the literati's chants of Yuanjie in the past dynasties, in order to sort out the context of Wuxi cultural inheritance.
