About This Novel
The selected articles in "Selected Prose of Xu Zhimo" (revised based on the original edition of the Republic of China) are from three collections of essays compiled by Xu Zhimo during his lifetime: "The Claws of Paris", "Falling Leaves" and "Self-section". It was revised with reference to the edition of the first edition of the Republic of China, trying to retain the lexicon and habits of the author's writing era, showing Xu Zhimo's life interest, literary quality and spiritual world. The book contains a total of 29 essays. In addition to famous articles such as "The Claws of Paris", "Gossips in the Emerald Mountains", "Notes on Tianmu Mountain" and "Falling Leaves", there are also some less well-known articles such as "Siberia" and "Chekhov's Cemetery".
