Carrying the lifelong expectations of her mentor, Jinxiu is reluctant to let go of ancient art. In the play, she transforms into Du Liniang who longs for love. Outside the play, she is an ascetic who is willing to burn youth, love and even life for art. But she still has the same dream as Du Liniang in her heart. The repeated interweaving of the inside and outside of the play, reality and illusion, makes her gradually indulge in an ancient and beautiful dream, interpreting a modern Du Liniang's garden dream.
