Maomao and I

About This Novel
This book is a set of dialogue-style children's poems, which originated from the poet Lan Lan's "sadness of the passage of time and trust in poetry" when she looked back on her childhood and hometown. The whole poem is composed of 62 poems. From the perspective of two girls and boys, "I" and "Maomao", it connects the bits and pieces of the country boy who grew up together like the wind and flowers. There is an innocence that goes forward, a simple life close to the earth, a childlike spirit of play, and a little mind's curiosity about the world, empathy for the suffering in life, and the pain of separation and death. This group of works places childhood and children on a broader stage of history and life. It is a book of childhood, a book of time, and a book of love written in poetry.
