About This Novel
Writing poetry is basically regarded as a symbol of talent. It was truly a rare era. Obviously, Brother Gu Rong can keep his composure. Because I founded the Poetry Club, I knew almost all the people who were famous for writing poetry at Ningxia University, including the seniors who had graduated, but I didn't know Brother Gu Rong. It wasn't until I graduated from college in 1985 that I learned that Brother Gu Rong, who had been admitted to Lingwu No. 1 Middle School three years before me, was actually a hidden poet. We gradually got in touch with each other. Of course, more often than not, I asked him for some experience in political teaching. During this period, I read some of Brother Gu Rong's poems and published his poems in the school's mimeographed poetry magazine "Blue Star". Later, I helped him recommend his poems to "Liupanshang Literature and Art" (later renamed "Liupanshang"). It is said that this was his first poem published in a regular publication, that is, his debut work.
