About This Novel
"Spring is Buried" is a self-selected collection of poems by Korean national poet Ko Eun. The poet personally selected more than a hundred poems from his vast works from 1960 to the present, including outstanding works at different stages. It is a complete presentation of Ko Eun's creative style and creative process. The works include both laments about the spiritual ruins caused by the Korean War, as well as murmurs with clear and light writing and full of Eastern Zen charm. Reading Ko Eun, what we read is not only lines of words that penetrate deep into the soul, but also sections of modern and contemporary Korean spiritual epics.
