Four Seasons in the Mountains
About This Novel
The most respected poet by Japanese life esthetician Yataro Matsuura! First translation and introduction to the Chinese world! ! "Four Seasons of the Mountain" is a good book carefully selected and recommended by Yataro Matsuura in "100 Days a Day"! Really the cream of the crop! ! Japan's modern poet laureate Kotaro Takamura's Notes on Living in the Mountains contains 15 articles recording his life in seclusion in the mountains. The changing seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, the interweaving and blending of man and nature, and the acquaintance and love of new and old friends. Pure, simple and fresh. "The collection of essays "Four Seasons in the Mountain" describes Kotaro Takamura's life in the mountains. The beautiful words seem to be narrating to children." "I like the first article "Snow in the Mountain" very much, copying and reading it aloud again and again. I dream of staying in a mountain villa on a snowy night, even just once, while reading "Snow in the Mountain" by Kotaro Takamura."

My favorite is the one about Mountain Snow! ! ! ! The tranquility in the mountains is highlighted, with woodpeckers, mice visiting at night, and the footprints of various creatures... "I have been alone for a long time, and I also want to meet other people. Even if they are not human beings, as long as they are living creatures, even birds and animals." The snow at night is beautiful. The author's joy for snow comes from the bottom of his heart. "When it snows, I run out of the house and feel the snow covering me from above."
This is another book that touched me after I read Ancient Capital. Personally, I like autumn better. Although the part about autumn did not disappoint me, the winter in the author's book impressed me even more. The Land of Abundance far away from the north basically does not have winter. In the book, there are so many lives stirring in the silent winter. I was impressed by the author's meticulous observation and powerful insight. This is something you can't feel anywhere else.
I've been alone for too long and I wanted to meet other people. Even if it is not a human being, as long as it is a living creature, even birds and animals.
Recently I like to read works by Japanese writers.
If you recall Padua, the memories of the past are in your heart, and all you can see are pear blossoms.
The snow scene in the article makes me yearn for it very much. I always feel that when everyone is asleep, a lamp and a pen next to the bed are the correct way to open a book. There were so many things going on during the day that I didn't have time to savor them all. Only in quiet moments like this can I appreciate the tenderness between the lines.
