When I watched Ming Sao, I felt that the male protagonist was very miserable. The male protagonist Shen Jingyuan and the female protagonist Shang Lu fell in love first and then later. The heroine is so miserable because of her mother Duan Bing. At the end, the heroine was even disfigured by her mother. The second female lead, Yuan Ting, and the second male lead, Qi Shu, love the male and female protagonist so deeply and pathologically that they suddenly fall in love with someone else. It's so unexpected.
I don't like this book very much. The male protagonist trusts his friends and Duan Bing, but he doesn't trust the female protagonist. Even if a paternity test can be done, is it still love? And at the end, the heroine's biological mother Duan Bing is simply a cancer (I didn't know she was the heroine's biological child). She harmed the heroine from the beginning to the end and ruined her appearance. In the end, the hero even ridiculously shielded Duan Bing and let her get away with it. His wife's appearance was ruined. How can he have the confidence to think that he can make the heroine's future life happy?
I really like Sheng Shi Ai's novel, it's not long but very profound.
