About This Novel
Once upon a time, there was a place called No Man's Land, where towering giant carrots grew. Once one was eaten, another one would grow. There are also trees growing there that never die. If you eat one leaf, two will grow. If you eat two, one will grow. There are flowers blooming under the tree, and the nectar will flow down the petals and form a golden river. The tree is also hung with meat bones, canned salmon, and cat pudding... The water there is sweet, the snow is warm, and it is spring, summer and spring all year round.
