Phoenix Returns to Nest
by Ye Guangqin
About This Novel
The train is traveling on the loess land in the northwest, heading towards Beijing. I'm not writing poetry, but I feel like poetry in my heart. I'm home, finally! Driven by the idea of returning, I looked for happiness and beauty around me. The train is a soft sleeper all the way, arriving at one station and arriving late. You don't have to listen to the nagging station announcements and don't have to worry about being late. There are not many people in the carriage and it is orderly. The conductor introduces himself to each compartment. His dress is standard and his language is standard. He is sincere and touching. There is a wall-mounted TV at the end of everyone's bed, and the video is playing on the TV. The video picture is clear, and there are six or seven controllable channels. The weather is still hot, and on sauna days, I sweat every time I move. Not only China, but the climate of the entire world is a bit chaotic.
