It's My Turn to Shoot
About This Novel
How to find yourself in a broken world. The nine stories are based on history, mythology, folktales and real life, showing nine unique situations in different forms. But whether it is daily gloom or absurd and uninhibited imagination, what is conveyed is a deep loneliness: an eternal loneliness that is both longing for and alienated from others and the world. It was an ordinary Christmas Eve, and Gavin returned to his parents' house like every other year. The irritating snow, the hypocritical greetings, and the boring dinner without any progress, everything is no different. Suddenly, a homeless man broke into the living room, took out a gun and put it on the table, saying that he wanted to play a game with them. The whole family was frightened. Only Gavin managed to maintain his composure and took the gun. "What game do you want to play?" He asked. "Shoot me," the stranger said.

Loneliness, just like the book says, there is no Hollywood-style happiness and reunion in life, but only impermanence. The book writes about real real life and a fragmented world.
The mission is passing by. . . . .
The work expresses a deep loneliness, an eternal loneliness that is both longing for and alienated from others and the world.
What a strange book
