When humans were born, there was a hole in their hearts. In fact, this was a deliberate design by the human engineer Merriam. She hoped to leave some regrets for mankind's journey on the earth, so that mankind would not be reluctant to go home because of nostalgia for the beauty of the earth. At the time, she didn't realize it might have been a mistake. Elliot is an ordinary little boy who always feels that he is incompatible with the world and constantly wants to escape. When he is desperate and confused, he gets acquainted with two people who are also lost - Sasha and Benoir. Sasha is an advertising copywriter who likes to complain about his work and hide his true thoughts in advertising content; Bannoir claims that he can travel through time and space and know the future. The three "weird" people have become dependent on each other, working together to deal with the important task of "living" and finding their own ways to fill the void in their hearts.
