About This Novel
In the social context of drastic transformation, the characters in the novel span a long 30 years. Thoughts after reading
The plot of the story is quite jumpy. It is told one story after another and can be connected. First from Xu Jiaming's perspective, then Lin Baoer's perspective, the insurance company man's perspective, and Xu Jiaming's friend's perspective. It took me more than six hours to read it. The title of the book is really not that good, and the story is told in more detail, but telling each person's point of view feels very procrastinating. The last part about the identity of Xu Jiaming's friends became unreadable after halfway through. In addition, the plot of Xu Jiaming and Lin Baoer's story was quite disgusting. I stopped reading it several times and finally finished it. This male protagonist was rough and arrogant, but he was also smart and talented, but it was a pity that he was short-lived.
The paper version of this book is in two volumes. I personally feel bad about Lin Baoer and don't like it.

I can't understand it a bit. Maybe I don't have enough understanding and experience, but it seems that this book is quite sad. I just saw this, and the sadness is revealed between the lines.
