This is a documentary novel. The protagonist Xi Xiao is a female soldier who grew up in the 1980s. After experiencing the chaos of the "Cultural Revolution", she worked as a female factory worker; later she entered the army and gradually grew from a grassroots female soldier to an outstanding military political worker; after that, in order to adapt to the needs of the new situation, Xi Xiao moved into the fields of business and law.
