About This Novel
This book focuses on the "Celebration Plan" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the European Union. Event planners wanted the last survivors of the Nazi concentration camps to appear at the celebration as witnesses of the times, in order to reiterate to the public the great original intention of creating the European Union. Through the different life experiences of the characters in the novel, readers can relive the richness of European history, such as the three-generation resistance career of Polish Matze Oswicz, and the escape and imprisonment history of Auschwitz concentration camp survivor David Devient.
