Everyone's hometown has a soul. I have never or cannot summarize the soul of my hometown. But I found the author's metaphor from this novel: "princess" and "beggar" with free soul. Maybe not perfect, but image enough. The current fate of this place seems to be like the heroine Wang Jiao, who is faced with various choices.
