About This Novel
Chi Shang was born in 1985 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. His works have been published in magazines such as Jiangnan, Feitian, Literary Port, and Literature and Life. During the autumn of Taohuadu, Ruan Yiqin suffered from an illness that was neither serious nor serious. The physical examination report showed a vaguely defined nodule on her thyroid gland. Ruan Yiqin held the thin report sheet, and she saw a dark dot in the chaos. The dot was not too big, but the doctor told Ruan Yiqin that the dot was probably a tumor. The doctor looked to be in his forties, and his chubby face and bald head with only a ring of hair on the back of his head all showed that he was very skilled in his profession. Ruan Yiqin's eyes circled around the doctor's excessively bright forehead. Outside an old-fashioned, narrow window at the back, many sycamore leaves were falling down, as if rushing to a gorgeous yellow feast.
