"Return, Go, Come" is a novel co-written by Canadian Chinese writers Chen Sijin and Xuecheng Xiaoling. The novel is like a rich family history, interpreting the joys and sorrows of the Liyuan family, the merchants and celebrities, and the scholarly family in the changing times. The first part of "Return, Go, Come" is set in Shanghai after the reform and opening up. It tells the story of the acquaintance and love between the male protagonist Su Shaoqing and the female protagonist Xiaoqian. It also uses the film montage technique to intersect the love and hatred of the three families. After experiencing turbulent years, the three families have returned to peace, and the unexpected encounter between the male and female protagonists who continue the family lineage creates a different emotional landscape amidst multiple entanglements.
