Eleven short stories and short stories. Various people and events in the protagonist Suiko's growth, including childhood relatives, childhood companions, and teenage crushes. The rebellious young girl is entangled in the troubled times of revolution, turmoil, destruction, and sexual enlightenment, but the writing style is light and simple. A rare combination of female vision, historical memory and personal experience, sublimated because of the narrative.

The calm tone makes people breathe heavily
Is this book an ear of wheat? Ever since I saw it once in the Jacket Library, I have never forgotten it.

After reading Youth, I read Suizi again. The writing is very delicate. I seem to have seen my weird self in childhood. I was very touched. The second half feels like a repetition of the chapter of Youth. The kind-hearted He Xiaoping in Youth is similar but different from the mouse in this book. It's confusing...
