There is a river in front of Majiazhuang Village, called Fish Bird Hippo. Xiaogang's favorite thing is to walk on the river dam, stepping on his own shadow and listening to the sound of the sun. At first, the villagers were curious about his lonely figure. They used their own thoughts to ponder this solitary boy. Discussions about him were always the first to ripple in the river. Women like to go to the river to wash rice, Washing clothes, choosing vegetables, and chatting about all the topics in the village that are related or unrelated to them. The boy from Ma Si's family is too evil. He keeps his head down and doesn't talk all day long. He must have encountered something unclean or is possessed by ghosts and gods. The same goes for his blind grandma who spends all night knocking wooden fish. It's so pitiful. When you look at Ma Si's unlucky look, you really don't know how he can survive this life.
