This is a story about love, growth and the pursuit of freedom. In New York, USA, the girl Coralie grew up in the Museum of Miracles opened by her father. In this place, people with physical disabilities are exhibits that can make a lot of money, and she is the most dazzling protagonist "Mermaid" in this freak show. After his mother was killed, the boy Ezekiel fled from Ukraine to New York with his father. As time went by, he decided to leave his father and even changed his name to Eddie to express a complete separation from the past. While Coralie was swimming in the Hudson River, he accidentally picked up a drowning woman; Eddie accepted a commission from an old man to find his daughter whose life or death was unknown. The fate of the two people began to intersect, from getting acquainted and falling in love to relying on and accompanying each other, looking for hope in the cruel reality. Slowly, Coralie finally had the courage to resist his father, but the price was that they had to risk their freedom, love, and even their lives!
