About This Novel
The story takes place in the United States in the 1950s. Our protagonist Atticus is a young veteran. Like many young people at that time, he also liked reading science fiction novels, Weird Tales magazine, H. P. Lovecraft's novels, and the Cthulhu Mythos; but the difference was that he was black. Under the apartheid system, dark skin was the "original sin." His family, who faced injustice and discrimination every day, couldn't understand him. As a black man, why would he read the bullshit of a white supremacist like H. P. Lovecraft? Why the fascination with nonsense like the Cthulhu Mythos? Until one day, a mysterious rich white man suddenly appeared and led the Atticus family to an old castle in Adamu. A journey that made everyone "go crazy with their SAN value" officially began!
