About This Novel

"The Jungle Book" is one of the collections of Nobel Prize-winning literature, edited by J. Kipling. "The Jungle Book" tells the story of seven o'clock in the night, when it was very warm in the Xioni Mountains. Father Wolf woke up from his day's rest. He stretched out his muscles and yawned, stretching out his paws one after another to drive away the sleepiness from his fingertips. The mother wolf was still lying down, her big gray nose stretched across the four somersaulting and whining cubs, and the moonlight shone into the entrance of the cave where they lived. "Ouch!" Father Wolf howled. "It's time to go hunting." Just as he was about to jump down the mountain, a little man came to the entrance of the cave...

Mowgli's growth history

The first book I read in Glory Bookstore, I felt confused at first. Reading the whole book is the growth history of the protagonist. When the protagonist is about to walk out of the jungle, his friends' farewell words warn the protagonist to adapt to the new laws, the laws of human society. The species in the jungle are also what the protagonist will face in the future - "monkey people" and so on. A new life is just around the corner, and the protagonist will also face new challenges. What I find surprising is why the protagonist suddenly wants to walk out of the jungle. Is this human instinct? The integration of the protagonist in the book with human society is still ideal compared to previous reports on wolf children. However, as a history of growth, this book is qualified. Whether in the jungle or in human society, growth is inevitable and the laws are universal.

Leaving human society, breaking into the jungle, and straying into the life of the wolf tribe, what kind of challenges does the wolf boy Mowgli face? Before being recognized and becoming the king of the jungle, Mowgli grew up, transformed, and finally returned to human society according to the laws of the jungle. The jungle beasts gather together, but they follow the laws of the jungle and are fierce but not chaotic. Even beasts are kind, and there is love in the jungle. Human society is much more complex and changing than the jungle. The road in the human world is rugged and full of challenges, making walking on it even more difficult. However, the attraction of love still makes every challenger move forward bravely.
