Epic! An unparalleled feast for thought!
I haven't finished reading this book in twenty years. Several times I read it halfway through and abandoned it because the text seemed to lack literary grace, beauty or charm. This time I finally finished reading the whole book. After reading it, I feel that the text is actually not that thin. And it turns out that the structure of the entire article is neat, and the second half is particularly rich in content, full of red and black colors. The protagonist's character is rare in literary works, a mixture of red and black. The hidden thread of the article is a continuous satire on the middle and upper classes of France at that time. Before the execution, the protagonist finally gave up his ambition and returned to his most authentic state.
So true, I like it very much, a classic that will be passed down forever
I recommend everyone to watch the musical "The Red and the Black", it's really amazing! "Glory Bows to Me" is one of the songs. You can search it online. It's very nice. ٩(๑❛❛๑)۶
