About This Novel

The protagonist of this book, Gora, is a passionate patriotic young man and Indian nationalist. His only goal in life is to realize the liberation of his motherland. Whenever he hears someone making even the slightest criticism of India, he will get angry and unbearable. When he hears someone mocking or bullying his compatriots, he will stand up for injustice. He hopes to awaken the masses of people at the bottom, restore their faith in the motherland, and make them believe in their own strength. Therefore, he chooses to unconditionally defend all traditions and practices it himself. This conformity not only caused his own inner conflicts, but also affected his relationships with family and friends, and affected his judgment on relationships. It wasn't until he understood his life experience that he completely got rid of the shackles of tradition and dedicated himself to fighting for his goals.
