About This Novel
Gatsby was not rich when he was young. He fell in love with a girl named Daisy, and Daisy also fell in love with him. However, Daisy finally broke up with him and married Tom, a rich boy. Daisy was not happy after her marriage, and the satisfaction of her material desires could not fill Daisy's spiritual emptiness. Gatsby firmly believed that money made Daisy betray her chastity and determined to become a rich man. A few years later, Gatsby finally succeeded. He built a mansion opposite Daisy's mansion. Gatsby spent money like water and played the flute all night long, hoping to attract Daisy's attention and regain his lost love.

When I was still young, I thought it was not enough to understand life without reading. It was not until later that I realized that if I didn't understand life, I couldn't read. The meaning of reading is probably to use what you feel in life to read, and to use what you earn from reading to live.
I really have some fascinating thoughts after watching it. If you don't understand it, you can go and watch his movie of the same name.

This book is so-so, there are too many such infatuated stories. Not as good as The Sorrows of Young Werther. Not much connotation.

I once lost a memory because fate required a weak and ignorant child who had just grown up to abandon her ideals overnight, accept the whole world, and wander in order to survive. She had no choice but to forget! The God of Destiny indeed arranged for her to remember that past event many years later. Who can understand the heartbreaking pain! ! !
Thoughts after viewing
Reading in a hurry, what I gain is that a person's style in life determines the person he accompanies on his last journey; a car is a good thing but also a dangerous thing; the title of the book "The Great Gatsby", I think, is an affirmation that he left a rich legacy when he came out of the army penniless before his death, and that he persisted in his inner nobility and filial piety to his parents in this world that lacked warmth.
