Travel to Northern Tibet
by Yu Qian
About This Novel
Guests from afar, I'll kill a yak to welcome you! The best season to go to northern Tibet is between March and May or October and December. This period happens to be outside the rainy season, making it less likely to get stuck in a car and not too cold. I had just come back from the mainland, and I had some altitude sickness and my heart was beating fast. The day before I left, I went to the People's Hospital for an electrocardiogram. The doctor said that there was an irregular heartbeat, myocardial ischemia, and the blood pressure was too low. Low pressure was 60 and high pressure was 80. Special attention should be paid. Going to northern Tibet had been planned for a long time. Zhang Jie and Dazui had been staying in Lhasa for a week to wait for me. At nine o'clock in the morning on October 28th, we set off from Lhasa, officially kicking off our "trip to northern Tibet". There were two cars this time. Our car is a Cherokee 2500, which we bought last year. It has never been driven on particularly bad roads, so this time is a test.
