About This Novel
Due to climate deterioration and frequent weather events, the earth has entered the "dust age" and familiar animals and plants have become extinct one by one. Human physique also changed. One type developed antibodies to dust and was captured and traded. The other type became half-man, half-machine, used and discarded by their former compatriots. To isolate the dust, humans split into different groups. One group built a "dome city" protected by a huge glass cover in the city, while a small number of marginalized people and refugees built "forest villages" in the mountains. In "Dome City", resources are scarce and competition is fierce. People are willing to trample on each other to protect themselves. However, under the leadership of a legendary woman, Zhixiu, the "Forest Village" is self-sufficient and takes in refugees from all over the world who have been displaced by wars and massacres. In the dense forest deep in the forest village, there is a huge greenhouse hidden in which a strange man-made plant grows. Some people say that in the silent night, it will glow green... At the end of the day, both mortals and heroes face choices. Choose love or choose hate, choose to lead to a different future.
